Simple knitting projects that can be knitted anytime and anywhere are just great. On the train, in a Café, or while watching a movie: “Good for North Wind” is a quick knit, so it is easy to make several in your favourite colours and for family and friends. Due to the super elastic rib pattern the hat adapts to any (adult) head size and keeps you warm, no matter how windy it is. The brim can be worn folded over or turned down and allows you to adjust the fit of “Good for North Wind”.
The Pompom of course can be made to match the hat’s colour, or you can use a contrasting wool. It would also look good if you had a variety of leftover yarns in various colours and use them in one pompom. Or you plan several hats and each one gets a different colored pompom! A 100 g skein of the two-ply Wendelstein wool is enough for one hat and a matching pompom.
